The swimming pool complex in Akureyri can be found alongside the camp site on Þingvallastræti. The complex features three heated pools with water slides, as well as hot pots, saunas and pummelling water jets and a solarium. It is one of the best complexes of its kind in Iceland, and should be visited if you’re looking for a relaxing time in Akureyri. The usual strict hygiene rules apply, and there are entrance fees. The pool is open every day of the year.
