Alvidra is the name of a farm east of Hveragerdi in the south of Iceland. It is one of two farms donated to the Icelandic Environment Union in 1973. They have been turned into centres for environmental education and nature research, and are open to the public and school groups. There is accommodation on site, but this must be arranged in advance.
