Baula is an unusually shaped mountain in the Borgarfjodur area in the west of Iceland. The mountain stands out from the skyline and is easy to spot as it takes the shape of a rounded large bowling ball. The mountain is situated to the west of the Noršurįrdal valley, and it is easiest to ascend it from the south-west aspect. The mountain is 934 meters high and those who reach the summit are rewarded with fabulous views or the surrounding area.
