Stöðvarfjörður is a small town in the east of Iceland. The area around the town is breathtakingly beautiful with mountains surrounding the town. The north side of the town has a mountain called Hellufjall bordering it, which is interesting because it’s east face has a highly unusual cliff which is split into two halves. It is called Berggangur í Hellufjalli, and is an area of special interest for people interested in geology or nature lovers, as walking between the cliffs gives an extraordinary feeling.
