Höfn is a small town on the East Coast of Iceland which contains approximately 2,500 inhabitants. Approximately eight miles away sits the church of Bjarnanes. The church is simple but has pleasing architecture, especially if one is interested in modern Icelandic architecture. The church is made of concrete and is painted white so stands out from the surrounding countryside. Inside it is simple and modern with a light airy feel. The church is well worth a visit if you are in the Höfn area.
