Breidholtslaug pool is one of Reykjavik’s many geothermal pools. Its pleasant location in a suburb of Reykjavik overlooks the town and has many walking and jogging routes nearby to explore before you swim. The pool is warmed by a constant stream of geothermally heated natural warm water. The turnover of water means that filters and chlorination of the pool is not necessary, but hygiene rules are therefore strict and swimmers must shower with soap before entry into the pool.
