Drangey is an island in Skagafjordur in northern Iceland. It is a haven for nesting sea birds, with over a million reportedly in residence at any given time. The island is flat-topped, with steep cliffs rising from the fjord to the 170 metre-high summit. Drangey is uninhabited, but can be reached by special tours. These operate from a farm just north of Saudarkrokur during the summer months, and take in all of the bird life and nature of the island.
