Dynjandi, or Fjallfoss, is the best known waterfall in the Westfjords region of Iceland. It is a part of a nature reserve, and the immediate surroundings include good access, a car park and a camp site. Walking from the car park, you will pass a number of small falls, and then come up to the huge main fall tumbling over the escarpment. The waterfall itself has great views over the Dynjandivogur fjord surrounding this small peninsula. It is free to access Dynjandi.
