Minjasafn Austurlands is a museum in Egilsstadir in eastern Iceland. It is also known as the East Iceland Heritage Museum. This is a small place with a homely feel. In its rooms it has exhibitions and displays about the history of the town and the region, with folklore, culture, industry and archaeology. There are displays of 10th century grave items, a reconstructed farmhouse and agricultural display, and many other interested features. The museum is open throughout the year, and has an entrance fee.
