Eldborg Volcano

Eldborg is an extinct volcano on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in western Iceland. It rises 100m over the Eldborgarhraun plain. A hiking trail leads to the summit of the volcano from Kolbeinsstadir. Eldborg has a prominent shape, similar to an egg cup, and is visible from all around as you approach.
