Ferđaþjónustan Húsafelli is a large leisure complex in the retreat village of Húsafell. The site has a camp ground, farmhouse accommodation, cabins, and facilities for guests including a kitchen, shop, laundry and restaurant. There’s even a geothermal pool, golf course and play area on the site to enjoy. It is a fantastic location to experience living in the wilderness in Iceland, whilst retaining some creature comforts and proximity to larger towns. Visitors can still enjoy the facilities here without staying overnight.
