Gallery Fold is an art gallery displaying over 1500 paintings - the largest contemporary Icelandic art display in Iceland. As well as the permanent collection of paintings the gallery has regular temporary art exhibitions. The gallery is split into two, one section for artists currently working in Iceland, and another for work by the pioneers of Icelandic art. The gallery holds art auctions three times a year, and has an outlet shop nearby for those wanting to acquire Icelandic artwork.
