Glanni Waterfall

The river Norđurá, in an area just below Bifröst, has a beautiful waterfall called Glanni. The waterfall is easy to reach by means of a path for walkers, which is lined with natural plants and shrubs. The banks of the river are made of lava in places below the waterfall, and this forms Paradísarlaut - the Hollow of Paradise. The same path that takes visitors to the waterfalls also leads to the hollow.
