Grænafell is a mountain close to the town of Reyðarfjörður in east Iceland. Hiking up the mountain takes approximately two hours, and in some parts it is a fairly steep climb. The effort however is well worth it as from the top beautiful panoramic views of Reyðarfjörður and the surrounding areas are to be seen. The trail to the top of the mountain leads walkers up a pretty gorge where plant life and wildlife can be seen.
