The Hafnarfjorður Folk Museum contains three exhibitions. The first is dedicated to the history of Hafnarfjorður and included displays and exhibits giving information on the growth of the town and the lifestyle of it’s people. The second exhibition consists of children’s toys and includes a delightful selection of wooden made toys and items. The third is an exhibition of photographs. The museum is housed in a 19th-century warehouse building which has lately been renovated and adapted as the museum. The museum is open daily in summer.
