The church is the centre of the town of Hafnir and, like the rest of the town, it is very picturesque. Surrounded by it’s own cemetery, the church is made of wood and is Lutherian. It was built in 1861, and mainly contains all of it’s original features. The outside of the church is in keeping with the rest of the town- brown painted wood exterior with white windows and a bright red roof! The church is usually open and available to have a look around inside.
