Höfdi is a headland on the shore of Myvatn Lake, near Reykjahlid in northern Iceland. It is a landscape of wild flowers and trees (rare in Iceland). The area also includes a number of small islands in the lake – each with many species unique to Iceland. The shore is lined with lava pillars, caves and much wildlife. The best-known pillars are at Kalfastrond on the south side of Höfdi. The headland has a number of walks to explore, which are marked clearly.
