Situated close to the town of Höfn is the Silfurnes Golf Course. Golf is a popular sport in Iceland, although there are only six eighteen hole courses in the country. The rest, like this one are of nine holes. Silfurnes Golf Course is par 32. opening times are short in the dark winter but in the summer visitors can take advantage of the long evenings and ‘midnight sun’ for an enjoyable round.
