Hreppslaug swimming pool is located near to the Skessuhorn mountain, close to the town of Borgarnes. The pool naturally made from geothermally heated water running from a hot spring. There are hot pools in addition to the 25 meter pool, and it is very popular with climbers of the nearby Skessuhorn mountain who like to relax in the pool after their climb. As with other natural pools, Hreppslaug is not heated and therefore strict hygiene rules must be adhered to before swimming.
