Húsafell is the site of a golf course in stunning natural surroundings. The course, like most in Iceland, is only 9 holes in length, but it attracts golfers from a large area. To play on the course golfers must visit the swimming pool to pay green fees, and from the pool the first fairway is a very short walk away. The course is both challenging and fun, with many water hazards and the forest close-by causing the course to be exciting. The fairways run along the banks of two rivers which provide a beautiful backdrop for the round.
