Situated in the centre of the town of Höfn is the ICE-land Glacier Exhibition. The centre has been recently refurbished and now is open all year round. Visitors to the museum have the opportunity to explore the science behind the local landscape and nature and how this relates to the glacier nearby. There are 5 section all with a different theme to explore, and interactive videos and computers allow visitors to find out information for themselves. There is also a roof platform giving a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
