A little further from the excavated farm in Stöng is the reconstructed Viking farm of Ţjórsárdalur. It was built using the farm at Stöng as a guide, and mimics its layout. It can be considered an accurate demonstration of how the farm would have looked in the 11th century, and contains turf-covered long houses and other buildings. Visitors can learn about the history and methods of the people who lived here. Also included is a reconstructed church building. One of the most interesting sights on Route 32, and a gateway to the scenic surroundings. There is an entrance fee.
