This Catholic church in Kalfholt was built in 1978-9 and is a wood paneled construction incorporating sheets of iron. Inside there are panel works by carpenter Olafur Sigurjonsson, and an important altar which dates from 1773. There are other important works and carvings inside. There has been a church on the site since 1260. Services are still held here, and visitors are welcome.
