Keilir Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course built on a lava field and enjoying beautiful views out to the Atlantic Ocean. The light Icelandic evenings are ideal for golf as in summer one can be on the course until almost midnight. The course is rated par 71, and golfers need a handicap of 36 to play. A 9 hole practice course is also available. Anyone is welcome to play; no membership is needed but players should book in advance.
