Kálfatjarnarkirkja Church is situated in the charming town of Vogar. Vogar is in the Vatnsleysustrond area, on the main road from Keflavik to Reykjavik, and is a picturesque town with plenty to do- well worth a visit. The church here is one of the largest churches in Iceland. It is a classic example of Icelandic rural church design and was built in 1893. The building is very pretty inside and outside, and inside many of the features are original.
