The Kopavogs Swimming Pool is close to Reykjavik and is one of the many swimming pools heated by natural geothermally heated water. The pool is 50 by 25 meters and between 3 and 5 feet in depth. Generally the water temperature is around 29 degrees centigrade. The main swimming pool is roped into lanes that cater for approximately three people each. For children there is also a fun slide and plunge pool, and there is also a hot pot next to the main pool.
