Laugardlslaug pool is the largest swimming pool in Reykjavik and is amongst the biggest in Iceland. It is situated in the Laugardalur Valley which offers scenic views from the pool over the surrounding area. Facilities include a 50 meter swimming pool, hot pots which can average around 44 degrees centigrade, Jacuzzi, thermal steam bath, sun lamps and a very large water slide! There is plenty of scope in the surrounding area to explore the countryside on foot or, in winter, on skis, before a relaxing and refreshing swim.
