Lundey Island is also known as Puffin Island. It can be found in Skjalfandi, offshore from the town of Husavik. The island stands well out of the water, with tall cliffs rising dramatically. As its name suggests, Lundey is a breeding ground for Puffins, as well as other species of sea birds such as Fulmars. Nobody lives on Lundey Island, but it is possible to reach it on a whale watching tour from Husavik.
