Minjahúsiđ is the town history museum of Sauđárkrókur in north western Iceland. It is located in one of the historic houses in the town and has been restored inside to show life in the town in times gone by, with a number of interesting exhibitions. One particularly interesting aspect are a number of workshops which show particular trades, such as carpenters, blacksmiths, watch makers and saddlers. There’s an archaeological display from local digs, and an exhibition on the musical history of Iceland. The museum is open from June to August.
