The Minjasafn Kristjáns Runólfssonar is a small private museum in central Hveragerđi which is run by a local collector. His museum, spread over two rooms, covers traditional and historic folk items. The friendly owner is keen to welcome tourists to his museum, and explain the items on display. There is a small entrance fee. The museum is open every afternoon.
