The Vestmannaeyjar Museum of Natural History is the top attraction in the Westman Islands. Visit it to get a good overview of the history and geology of the fascinating islands, and learn about the recent eruptions which significantly changed the islands. All manner of artefacts are on display, including many rock and animal samples. There is an interesting aquarium, and an art gallery in the museum. The museum is family friendly, and has an entrance fee.
