In central Hveragerđi is the Náttúrulækningafélag Ísland, or NLFÍ Clinic. It is well-known for treating patients with a variety of complaints. Although most are prescribed treatments there, visitors are still welcome to come and take massages, saunas, steam baths, and mud baths in the relaxing surroundings. Each treatment carries a fee. The clinic is open every day, and usually requires you to book well ahead.
