The Þórshamar Home Museum is located on the Tjornes peninsula in northern Iceland. It is located on the small farm of Manarbakki, and is the result of a local farmer collecting all manner of unusual items. These include Viking jewellery, many items from the Settlement Era, tobacco tins, matchboxes, old photographs and household items. The museum is open from June to August and has a small admission fee. You will also find an old lighthouse near the museum.
