Raufarhofn is the most northerly settlement in Iceland. It can be found on the north east cost. The town has a small harbour and fishing industry, and also has a number of places to eat, shop and stay should you wish. Just off shore are a couple of rocky outcrops known as the Asmundarstada Islands. The town is surrounded by some excellent lakes and scenery, and just to the north is the Arctic Henge site.
