Reynisfjara is a beach of black volcanic rock situated between Vík and the rock formations at Dyrhólaey. It is on the western side of the Reynisfjall ridge. The beach features stacks of basalt columns, and a wall of surrounding cliffs scattered with caves and plenty of wildlife. Just offshore are more stacks where the cliffs have eroded. These are known as Reynisdrangur. In the summer you will see baby Puffins on the cliffs here.
