The Saga Museum recreates the Viking Age with plaster cast and wax figures and models. Key moments in Icelandic history are recreated in a way that brings them to life for visitors to enjoy and learn from. The scenes also give a good insight into how Icelandic people lived in worked for more than a millennium. Icelandic history is made fun and educational for all ages to enjoy. Visitors to the museum are given a CD player which guides them through all the rooms in Icelandic, English, French, German or Swedish.
