Sambio Alfabakka is one of Reykjavik’s six cinemas. It is located on the outskirts of Reykjavik - to the south of the city. The cinema has several screens providing a choice of films for all tastes. Sambio Alfabakka mainly screens popular Hollywood films, most of which are in their original language with Icelandic subtitles, except children’s films which are usually duped into Icelandic. The cinema takes part in the annual Reykjavik Film Festival and other smaller festivals throughout the year.
