Seljalandsdalur is a valley to the west of Isafjordur in Iceland’s western fjords. It is a glaciated river valley with steep sides which runs inland from the head of the fjord. It joins with the Tungudalur valley at its head. The valley enjoys fantastic scenery, and a number of trails which are ideal for walks of varying lengths. Along the valley you will find a number of small lakes, and eventually lead to the remote moor land. In winter you can ski in this valley.
