Skessuhorn is a mountain in the Andakill district near Borgarnes. The mountain dominates the local landscape and is an impressive pyramidal shape. The height at its peak is 3,458 feet, and the top is flat and covered in vegetation. It is a moderately difficult climb, so several hours should be left for its completion. The stunning views from the top are well worth the hike, covering most of the Borgarfjörður region and giving a wonderful opportunity for panoramic photos.
