Smarabio is one of Reykjavik’s six cinemas, and is situated within the Smaralind Shopping Centre which is a short drive from the city centre. It is the largest cinema complex in Iceland. The cinema screens all the major Hollywood films along with European movies and local interest films. Most films are shown in their original language with Icelandic subtitles, with the exception of children’s films which are duped into Icelandic.
