Alongside the Hotel Laugarholl in Bjarnarfjördur is an outdoor pool which was constructed and consecrated in the 16th century. It is considered so historic that it is now a national monument. Nearby is also a hut known as the Sorcerer’s Cottage, as it belonged to one of the men burnt at the stake for witchcraft in nearby Homavik. It is part of the museum in Holmavik, and has a bus connection.
