Stadarbakki Church can be found in Midfjordur in North West Iceland. This is a typically Icelandic small wooden church, with the addition of a small tower at one end. The church was built in 1907 and at one point the vicar here was the son of Arngrimur Iaerdi, who was a scholar. Inside the building you will find a painted altarpiece of note. The church is still used and can accommodate a surprisingly large number of people.
