Stykkishólmskirkja is the main church in the town of Stykkishólmur. It can be seen from all around because of its large bell tower and bright white appearance. Inside, the church has a vast amount of lights hanging from the ceiling. It also has a large painting of the Virgin Mary and Jesus which is worth seeing. The church is open to pop in, and has services throughout the week. Visitors are always welcome.
