For the best views of Stykkishólmur, walk across the stone causeway to the island of Sugandisey, which sits just outside the harbour of the town protecting it from the sea. From here you can look back from the sea at the mainland, then enjoy a leisurely stroll back to the streets. The views across Breidafjordur are also fantastic from this island.
