Tjorn Church is a concrete building in a traditional Icelandic style. It was constructed here on the Vatnsnes peninsula in the 1930s on the site of a much older church. This older example hosted notable priests such as Sigurdur Norland and Robert Jack. The graveyard alongside is from the older church, and two graves here are of two people executed in 1836. Services are held in the church, and visitors welcomed.
