Varmahlíđ is a town close to Skagastrond in northern Iceland. It has all of the amenities travellers require, including banks, supermarket, service station, places to eat and drink, and accommodation options. There is also a tourist information office located alongside the service station, which offers useful advice and internet access. The nearby surroundings have plenty of options for outdoor pursuits such as hiking, climbing and rafting. Reykjaholl is a nearby hill which is a popular hiking route.
