The Vesturbaejar Swimming Pool is close to the centre on Reykjavik - one can walk there from the city centre. The pool is small and friendly and spotlessly clean as it, like most pools in Iceland, follows very strict hygiene rules for swimmers before they enter the water. The pool is outdoors and also boasts three hot tubs, a steam bath, benches and a water gym for adults. In summer when the evenings stay light the pool is open until 10pm.
