Vindbelgjarfjall is the highest point around Lake Myvatn, near Reykjahlid in northern Iceland. The hill stands at 529 metres, and is situated on the west side of the lake. A trail starts near the road, south of the hill, and leads to the summit. This is a fairly easy half-hour walk. From the top you have unrivalled views over the lake, lava fields, islands, marshes and craters.
